SAN FRANCISCO, CA–Wizeline, the leading provider of intelligent product and portfolio roadmapping software, in collaboration with Atlassian today announced enhancements designed to help product teams shorten planning cycles, improve alignment and transparency, and accelerate the pace of project delivery. Product managers, marketers, executive staff, and other key stakeholders gain visual roadmaps with clear views into product development status.

Now available as an add-on in the Atlassian Marketplace, Wizeline’s JIRA Software integration enables orderly, automated workflows between two phases of product development with planning and prioritization taking place in Wizeline, and development and project execution occurring in JIRA Software. Teams with a Wizeline account can install and configure the add-on in minutes.

“We’ve teamed up with Atlassian to make it easy for non-engineers to understand the development progress of each and every project,” said Wizeline founder and CEO, Bismarck Lepe. “At Wizeline, we believe strongly that building great products requires a company-wide effort. With these updates we’ve made it even easier for teams to collaborate, stay aligned on strategy, and move fast toward project goals.”

Available for both JIRA Software Cloud and JIRA Software Server users, Wizeline’s JIRA Software add-on enables teams to transition seamlessly between planning and development by connecting prioritized plans in Wizeline to projects in JIRA Software. “Our customers increase development velocity almost immediately, and consistently get to market twice as fast with Wizeline,” Lepe added.

Once configured, the Wizeline add-on automatically visualizes progress updates from JIRA Software on product roadmaps and the portfolio dashboard in Wizeline. Result: stakeholders who might be unfamiliar with JIRA Software, such as members from sales, customer success, marketing and executive leadership, are able to view unambiguous and accurate project updates in a single location. Wizeline gives product and project owners the ability to control what information each stakeholder is permitted to view on Wizeline roadmaps.

“At Atlassian, we believe in enabling teams to plan intelligently and execute swiftly and we’re excited to have add-on vendors like Wizeline join our growing ecosystem to reach this goal,” said Paul Friesen, Head of Ecosystem Marketing for Atlassian.

Wizeline’s JIRA Software add-on supports JIRA Core, Atlassian’s offering for business teams, and enables the following functionality:

  • Cross-project tracking, with the ability to track and visualize progress across multiple JIRA Software projects on a single roadmap in Wizeline
  • The ability to track progress by JIRA Software issue status, a new capability enabling teams to view progress by more than just estimated points completed
  • The ability to send prioritized plans and releases seamlessly to JIRA Software according to each organization’s unique workflows
  • Greater flexibility, control & security for large enterprises
